Abu Zarr (RAA) relates that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: 'Allah, the Lord of honour and glory, says: One who does one good deed shall be rewarded ten times or more, and one who does an evil deed will be punished for only one sin, or he may be forgiven; and one who comes to Me by a hand's breadth I shall approach him an arm's and one who advances towards Me by an arms length I shall approach him the length of two arms; and one who comes to Me walking, I shall go to him running; and one who meets Me with an earthful of sins, provided he has not associated anybody with Me, I shall meet him with an equal amount of pardon.'
