Return of Deposits to Owners

Abu Hurairah (RAA) relates that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: A hypocrite has three distinguishing signs; first when he talks he talks a lie; second when he makes a promise he breaks it; and third when something is entrusted to him he misappropriates it. (Bukhari and Muslim)

According to another version: Even if he offers Solat (prayer) and keeps fast and considers himself a Muslim.
